Koos, a 22 year old Dutch Red Cross nurse ends up working in a hospital in the South of the Netherlands during WW2. Alongside German doctors she takes care of both allied and German patients.

While outside the hospital it’s raining bombs from the RAF and the fights become more severe, the hospital remains neutral territory. When the Americans free the area, the German doctors suddenly become POW’s, while Koos tries to stay focused on the patients from both sides.
